What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check In: 4:00 PM

Can I request for an early check-in?

Check in is at 4:00 pm and early check-in is based on availability. Patterns for our departing guests vary daily. If you arrive early, we would be more than happy to store your luggage for you and return when your room is ready. With this in mind, in the event your room type is available and fully serviced by our housekeeping department, the hotel will provide an early check-in when possible. If you wish for your guestroom to be guaranteed ready earlier than the check-in time, we will be more than happy to secure the room a night prior, with current room and tax applied to your guestroom bill.

How can I request for a late check-out?

Late check-out is based on availability. Please reach out to our front desk, and they will let you know if it is possible for a complimentary check-out until 1:00PM. Unrequested late check-out is between 1:00PM and 4:00PM and will be subject to an additional 50% charge of registered room rate. Departures after 4:00 PM will be subject to an additional full night’s stay at registered rate.

Can you hold my luggage after check out?

Absolutely, we are happy to store your luggage same day as your departure date.

What is required to check-in?

Please bring a valid government issued ID and a valid credit card. Guest may settle to use cash or credit card at check out to settle their bill.

Will I be charged for an early departure?

If your booking is prepaid, nonrefundable the full stay will still be charged. All other reservations will be charged full amount including taxes and fees.

What is the cancellation fee?

A cancellation fee of $25 will be assessed on all canceled reservations. Reservations must be cancelled or modified by 4pm 72-hours before arrival to avoid a full cancellation fee equal to the first night’s room rate and tax. Unscheduled departures will be charged 100% of the remaining room rate and applicable tax. Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, groups or negotiated business rates.

Does the hotel provide any Wi-Fi services?

Yes- we would like for our guests to stay connected. In-room Wi-Fi is included in the daily Amenity Fee. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi in the main lobby. If you wish to have additional bandwidth, the connection is available for you for a nominal fee. 

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, we do have connecting rooms. Please make arrangements in advance so your requests can be accommodated. 

What is the best way to get from Portland International Airport PDX to Hotel Modera?

Portland International Airport is 13 miles from Hotel Modera and if you are driving in, it is a 19-minute drive. We offer onsite valet parking. Downtown Portland has a world-class public transportation and is a biker’s paradise. The MAX light rail provides convenient round-trip public transportation from the Portland International Airport (USD $2.50 each direction). Simply board the train outside of baggage claim, then exit at the Pioneer Square Courthouse. The Hotel is 7 short blocks away towards the Arts and Cultural District, a 10-minute walk. The MAX trains run about every 15 minutes most of the day, every day.

Does the hotel have a courtesy shuttle to and from the local airports?

The hotel does not have a courtesy shuttle but the concierge will be able to assist with all your transportation requests including shuttle, sedan and limousine services to and from the airport as well as arrange for any transportation needs you may have during your stay. What are the parking options at the Hotel?

Our guests can make use of our daily valet parking. Fees are USD 42 dollars for regular size vehicles with unlimited in and out privileges.

What is the Amenity Fee?

The hotel charges an amenity fee of USD $24.00 plus tax per room, per night, in addition to the room rate. The fee provides the following services: in-room bottled water, in-room coffee and tea, USD $15 food and beverage credit per stay that can be used in the mini-bar or sundry shop, access to “24-Hour Fitness” (indoor lap pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool including group fitness classes), all local and 800 phone calls, high-speed wireless internet access, internet access and printing services in our iMac lounge, complimentary access to our European-inspired cruisers and access to our game lounge, the Colosseum. 

Is the hotel pet-friendly? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?

Yes, Hotel Modera is a pet-friendly hotel. Upon check-in, a signed pet agreement will be required. Pets up to 40lbs are allowed.
Charge: USD $65 per stay 

All pets enjoy a plush doggy bed along, a tasty treat, a matching set of food and water bowl. Our concierge team can also recommend local pet-friendly parks, restaurants and dog walking services. 

Does the hotel offer laundry services on-site?

Laundry/ valet services are available for a nominal fee. 

Do you have a pool?

We do not have a pool.

What is Hotel Modera’s smoking policy?

Hotel Modera is a smoke-free environment. Smoking in your room will result in a daily  USD $350 fine.

Where can I smoke?

We do have a smoking area outside adjacent to our porte cochere. 

Do you have a restaurant and bar in the hotel?

Nel Centro is located in the main lobby, a modern restaurant with flavors reminiscent of the Italian-French Riviera cuisine. With several outdoor glass fire pits, Nel Centro’s open-air patio is a local dining and happy hour favorite. 

Do you have room service?

Room service is available for delivery through Nel Centro from 6:30 am-10:30 pm on weekdays and until 11:30 pm on weekends. 

How do I get to the Pearl District?

Getting out and exploring the Pearl District is perhaps the easiest way to shop, dine and enjoy the neighborhood’s sense of community and inclusiveness. The Pearl District is one mile away from Hotel Modera. It is a nice stroll or you can take the street car from the Portland State University Urban Center on 6th and Mill. Happy exploring!
