It is by far the coolest way to get around the Waterfront or across the Tilikum Crossing-The views are unforgettable.

Public Transit Options

MAX light rail provides convenient round-trip transportation from the Portland International Airport ($2.50 each direction). Board the train outside of baggage claim, then exit at the Pioneer Square Courthouse. The Hotel is 7 short blocks away towards the Arts and Cultural District, a 10 minute walk. Downtown Portland has a world-class transportation and is a biker’s paradise. MAX trains run about every 15 minutes most of the day, every day.

  • Take exit 299B on the left for Interstate 405 N toward U.S. 26 W/City Center (0.2 mi)
  • Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left (signs for Naito Parkway, Japanese-American Historical Plaza/ S Waterfront/ City Center) (0.4 mi)
  • Continue onto SW Harbor Drive (0.3 mi)
  • Continue onto SW Clay Street (0.3 mi)

Driving Directions to the Hotel ModeraFrom I-5 Southbound

  • Use the 2nd from the left lane to keep at the fork, continue on I-405 N and follow signs for City Center/ Beaverton/ Interstate 405
  • Take exit 1B for 4th Avenue , (0.2 mi)
  • Continue on SW 4th Ave. Drive to SW Clay St (0.4 mi)
  • Turn left onto SW Clay Street (348 ft.) • Destination will be on the left
